If you like what we stand for there are many ways that you can get actively involved, from liking our Facebook page through to becoming a member and even standing for election as a Labour councillor or MP.
- Using social media to communicate with people in our community is really important, and the more people that follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page the more effective these channels become for us.
- Running effective campaigns to get our Labour candidates elected takes a great deal of work. We are all volunteers who invest our time towards our shared goals. If you would like to spare some time to help, just sign up as a volunteer, and someone will be in touch.
- Fighting election campaigns costs money, and we rely largely on the generosity of our members and supporters to raise the funds we need. You can make a donation to our constituency party funds and help help us achieve our goals.
- We are of course a membership organisation. Standard Membership of the Labour Party costs just £4 per month*, with substantial discounts if you are under 27, retired, unwaged, work less than 16 hours a week, a member of an affiliated trade union, a student, or in the armed forces. You can join online, and if you live in the Colne Valley constituency you'll automatically become a member of our constituency party.
