Labour soars ahead at May elections.

Labour surge ahead in local elections.

Kirklees' oldest and youngest Councillors, Molly Walton and Erin Hill, both of whom represent Crosland Moor and Netherton.

In the 2014 local elections that took place on the 22nd May, Colne Valley Labour Party topped the polls in the Constituency. With the highest number of votes out of any of the parties, if this was replicated next year the Colne and Holme Valleys would have a newly-elected Labour MP.

Erin Hill became the newest member of the elected Councillor team in the Constituency, winning comfortably in Crosland Moor and Netherton. She joins an experienced team of Councillors made up of Cllr Molly Walton, Cllr Hilary Richards and Cllr Mohammed Sarwar.
