On Monday the 19th January,  I was delighted to welcome Jonathan Reynolds MP, Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change, to Holmfirth to meet with different environmental groups.

This is the 4th in my series of “Big Conversations” that has taken place on different topics.

We had representation from MASTT (Marsden and Slaithwaite Transition Towns), HOTT (Holmfirth Transition Town), Kirklees Environmental Partnership, Huddersfield Greenpeace, Huddersfield Friends of the Earth and Kirklees group for climate change.

A good conversation ensued where energy supply, green energies, local energy production, cold homes and fracking were discussed.

I hope everyone who attended found it informative and useful.
